The immunity challenge is to jump over obstacles, use a ball on a rope to pull down planks, build a staircase with them and then build the second puzzle waiting for them at the top. Davie and Nick jump over the obstacles first, but Kara is the first to release her planks. Alison is left behind as everyone starts building their stairs. Kara gets up there first, but Angelina, Mike and Nick all get something going too. A close finish sees Nick claim the win, continuing the streak of a different winner every challenge. Nick picks his Jabeni crew to join him on reward after Davie gives him a pass.

Chekov's idol: Angelina fulfills her episode 1 destiny
At tribal council, Jeff digs in to the rift between Alison and Angelina, where Angelina does point out she could've voted her out at the last two tribals and didn't so maybe there is some way they can reconcile. Nick says now that he's immune, he's gonna try and get people to jump on board with his plans. The vote results in Davie going home, which was definitely NOT what Nick wanted. "At least spell my name right" he jokes on the way out, and says whoever orchestrated this move has his vote. Mike is happy to take the credit.
Angelina tries to calm Nick down after the vote and explain that Mike wouldn't budge, but to still trust in their final 3...which is pretty hard for him to do right now. Kara and Alison seem really turned off by Nick's attitude and compare him to a child.

Alison goes into the deep
Nick, Angelina and Mike all agree Alison needs to go, but Angelina wants to make the most out of her idol play so wants Mike to get the girls' votes onto her. Mike is perplexed that she's making this more complicated than it needs to be, and now she's even making a fake idol to trick Alison with. Mike tells Kara the truth and calls Angelina a psychopath. So Kara and Alison's best move then is to target Mike, who Nick agrees is a threat and that he kinda wants revenge on him. Alison "finds" the fake idol that she knows is fake.

Wentworth flashbacks
Everybody is making their pitch as to why Nick should take them to the end: Mike says he's not really going for the money, whereas Kara says she thinks the jury don't think she's done anything. Nick gives them the heads-up ahead of time that he's taking Angelina. She sees this as by virtue of her persuasion skills...but it's probably just because she's easiest to beat. Kara and Mike practice making fire. Kara is able to do it pretty well, whereas Mike is not so successful.

An unlikely victory
The final 3 reflect on their journeys. Angelina has learned she doesn't have to be perfect and can survive without make-up. Nick is proud to be the last David standing. Mike says he wasn't making moves but he was the backseat driver.

What's cookin'?
At final tribal council, Elizabeth sets the tone by telling them don't be a politician and just be real. Christian asks about their biggest moves. Nick says getting John out. Angelina says making inroads with the Davids after her game got blown up, and also mentions the rice, which rubs Davie the wrong way. Mike says he had final 2 deals with a lot of people and wanted to get out the people who didn't trust him which Gabby confirms was correct in her case. Alison wants Mike to address some of his mean comments, and he does apologize for what he said to her on the way out. Gabby makes the point that Angelina has to face the differing perceptions of women. Kara gives some praise to players' social games, especially Mike's.

Angelina's 100 ft brush with death faces a skeptical jury
Onto closing statements, Angelina mentions how she was able to rise from the bottom and climb back to the top. Nick talks about the hardships he's overcome, both in the game and in life, and that he did whatever it took. Mike talks about how this has been about the rainbow for him and not the pot of gold. Alright, that about wraps it up...I thought all three gave a good account of themselves there.
John casts his vote for Nick, out of respect for getting him out I guess. Christian votes for Mike, which is a surprise. Gabby even cries casting her vote. It's gonna come down to the two guys. Mike gets 3, Nick gets the rest and he is the winner.
STAR OF THE WEEK: NICK WILSON
It's an incredibly fitting story for the season that the guy who was a miracle away from being first boot ends up taking it all. Nick was smart, fought hard and avoided being a target for a long time.Next time on Survivor...Edge Of Extinction? Color me skeptical. Not digging Redemption Island lite, not digging Joe and his awful porn mustache...let's just say it'll take me a while to warm up to it.
