One World Episode 11: Wake Up Call

So the two guys left in the game return to the Oestrogen-heavy camp, and Tarzan admits he's just gonna try and suck up to the women and not risk being associated with Troyzan. Not really a long-term strategy. Kim is nervous because her name came up and she wasn't expecting to be a target this early.

It's a coconut chop! Finally, will this be the wake-up call the people at the bottom of the pecking order need? Alicia likes the look of her doll. Christina is deemed the person who does not deserve to be here. Kim is named the most trustworthy. Troyzan is cut down by the girls, predictably, as Alicia mocks his "this is my Island". Kat gets another negative question. Chelsea gets dropped out next. Troyzan is named biggest poser, Sabrina the most useless. I like how negative the questions are. Kim wins the challenge. She takes Alicia and Chelsea. Troyzan starts planting seeds in the unpicked players that maybe they're on the bottom.

Kim, Chelsea and Alicia - flying high
The girls enjoy the helicopter ride, but Kim is worried about the reward challenge revealing too much. Back at camp, Troyzan is antagonising Kat and building up Kim as a big threat. Kat cries, because she thinks she's being perceived as a follower. Sabrina is concerned by how quickly Christina was swayed. Kim comes back and tries to run damage control with a furious Kat. She realises she may have made her first strategic blunder of the game.

The tribe are huddled under the shelter and a giant pig walks into camp. They're all really happy to see it, and chase it round for a bit. They don't catch it, but it's still a cute scene.
The pig provides some light relief

Oiled up: Chelsea going for a bullseye
Today's immunity challenge involves sliding down a mat and tossing rings onto pole. Alicia takes on Chelsea. Chelsea gets it. Sabrina takes on Kat, and Kat wins. Tarzan beats Troyzan and everyone celebrates like crazy. Kim beats Christina. In round 2, Chelsea beats Kat and Kim beats Tarzan, setting up a battle between the two main girls. It proves to be a great battle and Kim comes from behind to beat Chelsea and win immunity.

Kim wants to split the vote in case Troyzan has an idol. They decide to throw two votes on Christina. Sabrina for some dumb reason decides to tell Christina she's getting votes, and for some even dumber reason she seems fine with that. I don't think she truly understood the repercussions of what she was just told. They said that if Troyzan plays an idol we're gonna send you home. Alicia's comparison to her special ed students might be in bad taste, but that was definitely not a smart move.

Troyzan keeps hope alive
Troyzan thinks his best chance of survival is to figure out who they're splitting the vote on and throw his vote on them. He strikes it lucky when Christina tells him it's her. He gets Tarzan on board too, but will it be enough?

At tribal council, Christina gets a tough time as Alicia one again reminds her that according to the survey most people don't think she deserves to be here. Troyzan makes a joke about selling "Ocean front property in Kansas" to the people who believe they're part of something they're not, which Jeff misses the point of completely.

Not his Island any more
"Please go home" whispers Kim as she casts her vote for Troyzan. But has she done enough to finally get him out? The votes come in, and it's 3 for Christina, 1 for Chelsea...courtesy of Christina - did she just vote herself out of the game? Well no, because 4 votes for Troyzan proves to be enough, and the superfan gets his torch snuffed at last. He gives his blessing to Kat and then walks out like a rock star. I'll certainly miss him and all the drama he's stirred, but hopefully now we're entering a brand new chapter of the game.

STAR OF THE WEEK: SABRINA THOMPSON
Sabrina was a fun presence this episode. From her delight at seeing the pig to her delight at Troyzan losing, she seems pretty happy with the game in general right now. Her double agent plot to out Christina's intentions was the smartest play of the week.
