One World Episode 8: Honey Trap

Troyzan is sad to see Jonas go, and laments the luck of the draw, knowing he would've been in had he landed on Salani after the switch. Now Jay is keen for a girl to go next to even it up. Too late for that, buddy.

Super fun happy slide!
Tree mail promises them a 7-up. When they get to the challenge, he lets everyone have a taste. These product placement challenges just get more and more ridiculous. Anyway, the contestants are split up into two teams (Jay, Troyzan, Kat, Alicia and Chelsea vs Mike, Kim, Sabrina, Christina and Leif; Tarzan not picked) and have to slide down a giant water slide and then grab crates. Troyzan and Mike kick off, and the teams are neck and neck with two crates left. Christina for some reason separates herself from the group and doesn't help with carrying the last crate. The puzzle challenge is close, but Christina's team wins out. Leif's overenthusiastic celebrations cause Chelsea to say "Shut the fuck up!"
Christina the puzzle Goddess?

The 7-up paradise proves to be a great reward. Sabrina leads a prayer before the five of them tuck in to their meal. Getting a moment to separate themselves from the guys, Kim, Sabrina and Christina vow to make it an all-woman final 3, claiming Mike doesn't deserve to win. They plan to maintain the illusion that Salani is still together when really they are just gonna "annihilate" all the guys. Sabrina concocts a lie to tell Troyzan to turn him against Mike. How Devilish!

Maybe she just hates you because you're crazy
Tarzan crazy moment of the week: Tarzan takes the shelter apart to make firewood during a storm when they already have loads, and then denies this is what he's doing. Jay says it best: he's book-smart but has no people skills. Tarzan confronts Chelsea with a possible reason that he dislikes her: because he's a plastic surgeon, and she might have had a bad experience with a plastic surgeon. Did he really just bring up her boob job? Chelsea's response is pretty restrained, considering.

Hook, line, sinker
Kim tries to turn Troyzan against Mike, saying Mike is already spreading it that Troyzan is gonna win and they can't let him get that far. Troyzan is pissed and falls for it. Really? He doesn't even consider for a second that Kim might be playing him? I almost want to take back everything I said last week about Troyzan being a contender.

There's nothing like a good old puzzle on a windy day. The first part of the challenge is to pull your bag across a bridge. First four get to do the puzzle. Kim and Jay are the first to make it. Troyzan almost blows a huge lead, but gets in third. Who will the fourth be? It's Alicia. The puzzle is extremely difficult. "Too hard for me" says Kat. Kim ends up one piece away, but it doesn't fit. That's the thing about this challenge...you don't know you're wrong until the end. Jay comes out of nowhere to snatch the win, despite being behind for most of it.

Jay does the math
Jay wants a girl out next. But when Chelsea suggests Mike (a member of their alliance) right in front of Alicia and Christina (two people not in their alliance), Jay starts to see something not adding up. He confronts Chelsea about this, claiming the girls make him nervous. Kim has to avert disaster by walking up to Jay just as he's about to talk to Mike and say "let's do Christina".

At tribal council, nobody admits to feeling vulnerable. Jeff finds this amusing, because obviously somebody is going to be proved wrong in a few minutes. Then Tarzan says Jeff is being played, giving rise to the phrase "am I being Tarzaned?". The votes come in and reveal that the real person being played is Mike, whose departure is a huge shock to him. For some reason Christina and Alicia voted Tarzan and Tarzan and Mike voted Christina. What will be the fallout of this? Who knows, but I sense things are about to get dirty.

STAR OF THE WEEK: KIM SPRADLIN
Kim has got this game in the palm of her hand, as witnessed by how she managed to get Troyzan to vote out Mike with barely a second thought, and still managed to clean up after Chelsea's mistake. These girls are very impressive, but I hope we don't have an all-female final 6.
